VAT MANAGER Retail Background Dubai.
The Retail VAT team provides a full range of indirect tax advice to all companies within the group.
The candidate will need to have a sound VAT technical base, with a good level of experience of tax within a Retail or FMCG business and be keen to be part of a successful, national retail business with the passion and drive to take this opportunity forward.
Requirements:
• Preparing and reviewing of all indirect tax returns across the business strands i.e. VAT returns, VAT compliance and reporting
• Monitoring and providing support on legislative developments
• First point of contact with a wide range of stakeholders related to indirect/VAT matters
• To work very closely with the Group Finance Head
• Previous experience of working with retailers accompanied by strong technical knowledge.
• Strong technical skills coupled with the communication skills to explain complex issues in clear concise way to stake holders and non-tax colleagues.
• People management skills with proven experience of delegation and project delivery through a team.
You will be ACA/ACCA. Strong VAT experience with a technical and commercial approach.
