Urgent Hiring of Accountant/VAT Manager
Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and personable International Tax Manager based in Dubai to take accountability of the VAT advisory and compliance function for popular Retail business in the Middle East. The role will be to manage the VAT implementations with queries relating to new business initiatives and transactions, process improvements and internal controls. To be successful, the ideal candidate should possess an in-depth tax technical knowledge and should be able to demonstrate a proven ability to identify and manage tax risks.
4+ years of progressive indirect tax experience with exposure to international or transactional taxes in accounting firm, and/or a retail corporation.
VAT compliance background including preparation and review of VAT compliance matters
Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Law, Accounting, Economics or Business Administration.
* Experience and knowledge in accounting concepts and tax regulations, laws and standards.
* Experience working with tax engine systems e.g. SAP/Vertex/ERP .
